Construction workers in Beijing built "Green Home Canada" - a three-storey apartment building - in just 60 hours as part of a live demonstration to showcase the ease and efficiency of wood frame construction. The "Green Home Canada" modular building features nine units. The building is made using spruce, pine and fir lumber. A large delegation of British Columbia forest industry executives and representatives are in China this week.
